Harav Avraham Salim shlit”a spoke of the immense zechus donors were presented with: “Chazal teach that Torah, Eretz Yisroel, and Olam Haba are acquired through suffering. Now you have the opportunity to be zoche to all three together by supporting Torah in Eretz Yisroel.
The delegation continued with a private gathering at the home of R’ Yisroel Ples, where Harav Moshe Hillel Hirsch shlit”a spoke about the unparalleled privilege of being moser nefesh for Torah. The evening concluded with stirring zemiros in preparation for the Yomim Nora’im.
